Leo Group has strong links with the British agricultural industry, having been founded by a family with substantial farming heritage.
The Group brings this experience to each of its 17 farms nationwide, raising more than 400 herds of pedigree and commercial cattle.
Our breeding objective is to produce cattle demonstrating correctness, top quality conformation, record growth rates as well as a quiet temperament. Over the years, the herd has built a reputation for breeding quality cattle year on year. This is proven by pedigree cattle prizes won whilst at shows and sales, throughout the country.
We also have an extensive operation of breeder farms, broiler farms and hatcheries. Within these facilities we grow 800,000 birds per week, hatch 1.2 million eggs per week and process more than one million chickens per week.
It is this knowledge which provides the Group with a unique understanding of the entire supply chain from start to finish; from raising the cattle to processing the by-products. Ultimately, there is no waste throughout the entire process.
We are proud members of both the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) and the Association of Independent Meat Suppliers (AIMS).
