Our transport division, The Haulage (Holdings) Organisation Ltd (HH), owns and operates a large modern fleet of specialist vehicles dedicated to serving the needs of Leo Group’s companies.
With operating centres in Kintore (Aberdeenshire), Dumfries, Penrith, Attleborough and Halifax, HH collects from and delivers to Leo Group suppliers and customers throughout the UK.
By utilising the services of the Group’s own dedicated transport operation, we are able to offer a reliable, cost effective, specialist collection and delivery service which ensures both raw materials and finished products remain in the best possible condition.
HH has invested heavily in its fleet and operates Mercedes Actros trucks, serviced and maintained by our sister company Bell Truck and Van with in-house service facilities located at both our Halifax and Penrith operating centres.
Leo Group is the only company in the UK to be carrying animal by products in trailers that have hydraulic metal lids as opposed to the traditional tarpaulin sheet. We also chill raw material at source before it is transported to ensure it stays as fresh as possible.
In 2019 HH and Leo Group won the Partnership Award at the prestigious Motor Transport Awards. The award recognises and celebrates genuine a partnership between an operator and a customer.
HH is committed to maintaining a modern fleet, we continue to look to improve methods of collection in the future including maximising collection payloads in order to be efficient. We strive to be innovative within the sector and the future of our material transportation is aimed towards sealed containers.
