Match funding is one of Leo Group’s community initiatives.
The company will match funds raised for charity by a group or individual on a £1 for £1 basis. Not only is this initiative implemented internally for our employees to access it is also available for external organisations to acknowledge the important work they do in our community.
To date our largest match funding donation was £25,000 to Calderdale SmartMove for their Big Sleep Out event. The charity supports homeless and vulnerably housed people, by helping them find suitable accommodation and providing them with the support and resources they need in order to live independently.
Our employees take part in fundraising activities at work and home throughout the year including but not limited to the Clarion Leeds 10k, Children in Need, Comic Relief and Macmillan Cancer Support – World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. All money raised from these activities is match funded by the business.
